‘Seeing Through,’ presents stories about different design methodologies and approaches devised and executed to create ‘see through’ designs. With the use of transparent walls, a visual connection between interiors and exteriors can be found in high-rise architecture and residential homes while simultaneously providing protection and privacy to users. This particular development has also found its way to commercial architecture curated to immerse users into their spatial experiences. All of these are made possible thanks to the continuous progress of manufacturing and construction technologies, which have brought about much greater diversity to the styles and attributes of transparent materials. Some possess physical characteristics that alter according to factors such as light or can be controlled to best cater to users’ varying demands as well as architects’ imaginations and visions.

Wison Tungtunya, the architect and founder, shared and took us through parts of his twenty year experiences, insights on the evolution and described the future of architectural design through the lens of his long career as architectural photographer.
